Pet care experience
I took a hiatus from Rover for a while, but I’m back! I’m in Seekonk, MA for the month of May, and while I’m here I'd love to help take care of your dog. While I have a soft spot for larger breeds, I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m available to give walks, stop in for visits, and housesit for you and your pets if you need to get away. I spent a lot of time with dogs as a kid. My family used to live above my mother’s animal hospital, and during that time I was constantly meeting and interacting with new animals. I always considered the dogs we had growing up as big a part of our family as their human counterparts. In college, I walked dogs in my neighborhood once a week through a volunteer organization called Animal Aid, and when I moved to New York in 2017 I started walking dogs through Rover. I’ve experienced the whole gamut of dog personalities, from balls of energy to lazy giants to relentless fetchers. No matter the dog, I'm happy to provide them some extra care and love!

Ben was great!! We had him fill in when our normal dog walker went on vacation. He responded to our last minute request very quickly. He dealt with our 10 month old puppy extremely well. Definitely recommend him!
Upon meeting Ben I instantly felt comfortable leaving my two fur babies in his care. He took them on a nice long walk and sent pictures and updates! I'm sure we will be working together again. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone kind and trustworthy to care for their furry family members!
Ben is such an excellent dog walker, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs one! We both participated in a college dog-walking volunteer program, in which we would walk dogs on a weekly, scheduled basis. In this capacity, I've come to know Ben an exceptionally kind and caring sitter to every dog he's walked. With Ben, I guarantee that your dog will be in good hands.
Ben is an affectionate dog lover! On countless occasions, Ben has weathered the elements to give his family dog, Piper, a long walk in their wooded New England area. Off at school away and from Pipey, Ben volunteered to walk many neighborhood doggies while their parents were off at work. Utilizing the large fields around Tufts and many of his dog friends' favorite toys, Ben would enjoy playful afternoons of fun and doggie exercise over his years of volunteering. After running into Cody (one memorable, three-legged dog friend) and their owner one morning, I could Ben and Cody became great friends! Beyond Ben enthusiasm and love for dogs, he is an amazing photographer (heck, he's taken a few great shots of me and Piper!). So if you're away from your lil one for a few days and want some loving shots of your pupperino, Ben is the one for you!
