I grew up with large dogs (mastiffs/bulldogs), and spent a lot of my younger years volunteering at the local animal shelter. I now own my own pug, as well as a cat, a parrot and a 55 gallon aquarium. I’m comfortable with all breeds and all sizes of dog. I work full time from home during the week, and on the weekends, I am very free! I would love to pop in and check in on your fur babies in between work calls, have them at my own home during the day, or hang out with them on the weekends. I love exotics and am very open to them as well! I am open to boarding / day caring dogs who are 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained, and 100% dog and cat friendly. I will not budge on any of those, as this is my home, and I do not want my pets to be in danger, nor my furniture destroyed. This includes animals who have NEVER been boarded before - if your pet is over 6 months old and has never been apart from you, consider booking someone to stay at your house. My home is not a jungle gym. Please deeply consider, “is my dog properly trained / well-behaved outside of my home? Do they listen to commands? Do they have issues being left alone?” If any of those questions are not confidently correct, please be honest and up front about that. I cannot train and babysit a wild animal. Manners are of the utmost importance here. Jumping on people, crying constantly, scratching at doors, etc. will not be tolerated, and if your pet cannot abide by that, this will not be a good fit. If your dog has so much as growled at another living creature of any sort, they will not be welcome in my space that my animals live in. In order to book an overnight stay, your dog must do a FREE trial run of at least 4 hours in my home to make sure it’s a good fit. Hope you understand. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
