Pet care experience
I suppose you could say I was born to do this. I was raised with dogs, cats, birds, and now reptiles. I have a deep fondness for all creation, all animals especially. My grandmother would trust no one else with her animals except me. The dogs and birds have a very complicated routine and one of her dogs is too big for her to walk, but I love taking care of them and helping her out. Having a horse farm, and fostering has really helped with my animal care skills as well, including medical. You couldn't ask for a more loving or experienced sitter!

On our small farm, we have horses, dogs, cats, snakes, and many, many foster kittens, in addition to the occasional mouse, chipmunk, and baby bird. Bella handles the care of all in a calm, focused manner. She pays close attention to the multitude of details on a fault daily basis. I feel very comfortable leaving her in charge when we go away.
While, admittedly, I am Bella's grandmother, I am also very particular about who stays with my dogs and parrots during my absence. Perhaps because Bella has known the love of animals from birth, she has always inherently understood that caring for their needs is a #1 priority. Bella never does something halfway. She is exacting in detail and makes every effort to put animals who are in her care completely at ease. Parrots rarely accept a new caregiver with enthusiasm and some can be aggressive. Bella's soft voice and easy attention to feeding and watering and cleaning the cages of my birds were met with happy curiosity. The small dogs adore her and the Rhodesian Ridgeback wants to be her lap dog! When I must be away, there is no one I would rather have to watch my companion animals!
I have known Bella for almost 10 years and she has always been wonderful with animals. And she has a very good person for any care for any animal. Bella loves her own animals and everybody else's.
Bella is fabulous with my dogs! She is nurturing but firm and helps them feel at ease. Her ability to manage my very strong and strong-willed 120+ dog is impressive. She loves being with animals of all kinds and is a natural at it!

The only information I like to know about a dog before sitting him/her is: -do they have a specific routine their used to? -do they have a favorite toy or play to lay? -is there any possible chance they might bite me and what might set it off? (I've found this usually happens with smaller breeds) -any allergies? -how are they with other animals?
A typical day
If you're around Winder, I might like to take your dog on a walk to Fort Yargo if that is okay with you. I do prefer to go to nice parks if that's available and if the owner is okay with that, but I'm also okay with just walking them around the neighborhood or whatever the client would prefer. When playing with dogs, it's fun to pay fetch or tug-o-war with a rope toy, but most dogs have their own game they like to play, and figuring it out is half the fun.
