Hi, I'm Bella (I know, a dog name) and I’m looking to incorporate and care for more pets in my life, since they bring me so much joy! I live a very active lifestyle by going on hikes and practicing yoga, and doing HIIT and walking/running during the week. I grew up raising golden retrievers with my family, and when I was 13 we got an adorable poodle puppy. I helped raise her with my twin brother until I graduated high school and left for college. My parents now have another poodle puppy in the house! I enjoy taking dogs for walks/runs, and can expose them to dog parks if they're comfortable interacting with other canine friends. I live in a spacious apartment with no roommates, have carpet with rugs for dogs to nap on, have lots of furniture for them to rest, and live near parks and hiking spots around the neighborhood. I make sure to take dogs on necessary potty breaks outside and will make sure they get snacks/cookies and water throughout the day, and have pee pads at my place.

Bella was an amazing house sitter for our dog Fritz! She was very responsive, professional, and took great care of Fritz. Bella was very helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed and went above and beyond what we asked of her. This was our first time booking a house sitter and Bella gave us the best experience, we’re looking forward to having her watch Fritz in the future.
We had a very bad experience with this sitter. We were just looking for one night overnight boarding to allow us short getaway during the spring break. When I first contacted Bella, I informed her that I got a last minute cancellation from my sitter due to some personal emergency on her end. Bella agreed to sit my dog without questions. As stated in our profile, I had also told her that our dog is very friendly with human but possibly not with other dogs. We are looking for someone without a dog or not sitting other dog at the same time, which she agreed. Next day, we dropped him off with Bella, my dog was very friendly and happy with her. We agreed to pick up my dog at the evening next day (5:30pm). The next day, while we just sat down at the restaurant ordering food for lunch, we received a call from Bella informing us that our dog has been barking. According to her, her condo property manager has written her up because of the dog barking. And she wanted us to pick him up asap. Since we were physically 2-3 hours away, we told her she can’t do it. And she went on to ask if she can drop him off at our place or at our neighbors or friends place? She even proposed to drop him off at a random kennel place which she has no idea as to the cost. And we didn’t know anything about the kennel place. It’s not ideal as my dog is not comfortable to be surrounded by other dogs, she already knew it from the first contact. In my opinion, this is so irresponsible. Throughout the whole conversation (for about 10 mins), we didn’t hear our dog barking in the back at all, which she admitted he didn’t. Thereafter she texted us again asking if she can leave him at a kennel place. We then went on a FaceTime call so that I can see how my dog was doing. He was calm and shy. No barking no noise. We ended up wrapped up our lunch quickly and drove back to pick him up at 3ish. We had a very stressed and distressed time the whole afternoon because of how she handled this, calls, texts, requests to drop our dog at a unknown kennel etc. I was thinking letting it go but after a second thought, I know that I should leave a review which will help other pet parents decide who would be a good fit for their pets.
My dog is unhappy at the kennel but was so happy with Bella. Bella gave her a lot of love and gave me great updates. My dog is excited to stay with her again.
Bella took great care of my dog while on her walk. Also took plenty of pictures and kept me updated. Highly recommended!
