I am a very responsible, dog-loving pre-vet student who wishes she had her own dog and is looking to get hands on time whenever possible. For the past two years at school, I have walked a neighborhood dog, building a relationship with the owner and being entrusted with feeding and medical care when necessary. Previously, I volunteered regularly at my local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs up for adoption. I work well with sensitive or more cautious dogs and love getting to build a bond. As a pre-vet student, I keep a close eye on dogs and have alerted owners about minor injuries or odd behaviors during a walk, even helping to replace bandages once back at home. I am responsible, prompt, and will give a detailed report about your dog out on our walk!
