Experienced dog fosters now accepting boarders! My partner, Johnny, and I have 3+ years experience fostering for a local rescue and Johnny has been a kennel tech since 2019. Our dog JackJack is a social guy who responds well to boundaries and body language. Kazuha is our newest addition and he's a pretty spunky (and vocal) little guy. He tends to be a bit anxious/excited when first meeting a new dog, but once the sniffing introduction is over, he's fairly indifferent to other dogs. Our cats are very dog savvy having been exposed to numerous fosters over the years, and Meera even seems to think she is a dog. I have a background in mental health and my experience as a therapist has taught me a lot about trauma, enhancing my understanding of animal behavior and care. Throughout our time adopting and fostering, we have encountered a wide variety of dog behaviors and are used to supporting stressed pups during periods of transition. Our house is pretty mellow which makes it a great fit for dogs who want lots of snuggles and couch time. Our dogs are typically up for a romp or wrestle too if you pup likes to play though! We have a decent sized, fully fenced backyard that is mostly concrete and dogs are never left outside unsupervised.
