Lifelong Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover who is ready to take on all of your pet-care needs! I have had pets my entire life-- dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and parakeets! So I have extensive personal experience caring for and loving animals. In addition to my personal experience, friends and neighbors have trusted me my whole life to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they are unavailable as well as house sit for them.
Reviews
Becky was an excellent dog-walker! She was reliable and communicative. I trusted her completely with my anxious dog, Theo. She gave great walking reports and pictures to keep me updated. I will definitely be using her dog care services again!
Becky watched my puppy, Bella at my house when I was away for the week and I didn't want to put Bella in a kennel anywhere. It gave me peace of mind on my vacation knowing she was in a familiar setting and that her and the house were taken care of. Thanks Becky!
Becky has been a wonderful caregiver for my extremely anxious pup. She understands doggy boundaries and uses gentle handling to helping my sweet girl have her needs met while feeling safe and happy. I’ve had Becky as an overnight home and dog sitter and she’s very responsible, respectful to our space, and maintains timely communication. I highly recommend Becky!
Becky was extremely sweet and very respectful when staying over. She house sat and cat sat for several days sending regular updates and pictures. Very responsive and was organized about scheduling.

My personal philosophy when it comes to caring for pets is patience. Animals obviously do not have the same sensibilities as us humans and cannot always clearly communicate their needs to us. What we might perceive as "bad" behavior is simply them expressing a need or acting on their instincts. I always approach animals with patience and compassion, no matter how they are behaving. I also want you to feel as safe and comfortable as possible having me visiting your home and interacting with your pet. I am happy to do a phone call or in-person meeting to make sure that you feel comfortable working with me. This will also give us a good chance to discuss your pets specific needs and any concerns you might have. No one knows your pets needs and mannerisms better than you! I am comfortable doing all aspects of pet care-- feeding, walks, bathing, playing, affection, administering medicine, cleaning up messes, and scooping litter boxes. Let's chat about your pets specific needs!
Information Becky L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs like feeding schedules or medicine, but also any anxieties or triggers they might have. I want to approach your pet with as much kindness and respect as I can and make sure that we have a relationship built on trust.
A typical day
Being from Howard County, I'm a huge fan of parks like Centennial Lake and Lake Elkhorn. I can take your pup for an extra long walk and make sure they get plenty of exercise!

Availability
As I recently finished up my graduate degree, I am currently searching for full-time jobs and supplementing my income with freelance video editing. This means my availability is *extremely* open. As long as I am given at least a days notice, I can be available any day of the week and at all times of the day.
