Pet care experience
I've been around animals my entire life. I've owned cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I've worked in the Veterinary field for 20 years. I love all types of dogs, especially seniors or special needs. We walk everyday and get plenty of cuddles. I do work at a Veterinary hospital, but my schedule can be flexible. I make my schedule and take off or leave early as needed. I'm home most weekends, evenings and some afternoons. I also work remotely some days. Pet sitting is something I take very seriously and want the pets to feel like they are at their second home. I get to know each dog and do what they enjoy. I care for dogs in my home. I have a large yard and great neighborhood for long walks. I have a small to medium size crate that can be used.

Becky has always been great with watching our rescue pup. Although our dog can be challenging at times, Becky’s vet experience helps her to treat our dog the best way possible. She’s a patient, capable, and helpful pet sitter and we’ve never once worried about leaving our dog in her care.
Becky was incredible to work with! We were managing different a four year old and our dog while touring her area and needed to find someone to keep our dog while we did some memorable activities with our son. She was quick to respond to messages, flexible with our schedule of activities, and sent pictures and updates of our beloved Max. Becky is top notch, you won’t find a better pet sitter. When we come back to her area during for summer traveling again, we will use Becky!

I'd like to know who your primary Veterinary is and what you would like done if your pet has a medical emergency. Which flea prevention do you use? Gets along with cats?
A typical day
I will adjust to each dog as they all enjoy different things. We can go for a mile walk or 3 mile hike. We can cuddle on the couch, play ball outside or in the basement.

Availability
I do work full-time but can be completely flexible with my schedule. I will take days off when I am watching a dog or only work half days. I do prefer dogs being in a crate when they are alone-for their own safety. If the owner feels the dog is able to be outside of a crate for short periods of time, I'm open to that. I only watch one family's pet(s) at a time.
