There's always been dogs in my house, even before I was born. I grew up helping my mom show and breed both Pugs and Chinese Cresteds, and loved all of it. I grew up used to small dogs under-foot, so I have no problems with little ones zipping around and talking to me from the ground. But just because I grew up with small dogs, doesn't mean I can't hold my own with the big dogs. Big or small, I can throw a tennis ball and fill a bowl and have no qualms on telling a dog no for wrong behavior. Dogs are fun and full of love, and I think the relationships we have with them should reflect that.
