Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, I have surrounded myself by animals and spent as much time around them as I could possibly squeeze in. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and geckos (but the dogs always had my heart!). I have gone on countless hikes, runs, and other miscellaneous adventures with my family's dogs as well as others dogs, and hope to continue to do that here. I have cared for puppies as young as 6 weeks old all the way through senior dogs. As our family dog grew older, I was responsible for giving her morning and evening IV fluids and her daily medications. I did the same for our elderly cats and have experience cat sitting as well. I am very comfortable giving medications as I have done for many family pets whom I have looked after.

We entrusted our dear dog Gus to Becca’s wonderful care when we went on a family trip. Becca would call with updates on Gus and was always available when we reached out to her. They had a great time together which was nice because Gus was a kinda cranky older dog and particular about who he wanted to be with. She knew just how far he would want to walk, when his meal times were and which side of the couch was his favorite. We highly recommend Becca, a very caring and responsible dog sitter.

I have experienced her relationships with the many canine members of our large extended family across a multitude of settings. Becca is highly responsible, athletically fit and loves dogs. She is playful and energetic and has a keen sense of humor - especially around pups. She is “dog savvy” and appreciates the personalities across a wide range of canines - Border collies, Aussies, Golden doodles, labs, retrievers, Brittany spaniels, Cavalier King Charles, cattle dogs, Huskies, wired haired pointers to name a few. Becca has provided safe and loving care for our rambunctious Aussies in our absence and is confident and agile navigating issues that may arise (other dogs, humans, squirrels) when taking them out for exercise and walks. Finally, Becca is an excellent communicator with humans as well so you can feel rest assured that your beloved companion is in good hands.

Availability
As a current medical student, my schedule can be somewhat variable. Although I unfortunately do not currently have time to own my own pup, I am willing to be work around folks' schedules and often have availability in the afternoons for dog walking/house sitting duties. I am also available for overnight dog/cat sitting at owner's homes.
