Hi! I'm Becca and I’m a 2nd Grade ESL teacher who loves to take care of dogs on the side! I've lived with dogs my entire life and have a special place in my heart for the bond that we share with them. I currently have a 2 year old lab mix that I adopted with my fiancé at the start of the COVID pandemic. My schedule is relatively flexible and I am available to house sit or simply check in or walk your dog. As a teacher, I'm usually busy during the school year between 7:00AM-3:30PM on weekdays, but will happily take care of your pet outside of those hours or on the weekends. I have plenty of experience with a variety of breeds from young to old, can handle multiple pups, and am great with cats as well! I always start off by meeting you and your dog prior to the stay to get a feel for what the stay will be like and an understanding of where everything is and anything I should be cautious about. Becca took care of my 3 year-old labradoodle for a week and stayed with him at my house while my family was away on vacation. The whole time I felt comfortable that my dog was getting exercise and fed just like his usual routine. Becca sent pictures every day and I appreciated the updates. Hope she can dog sit for us again!

I would love to meet you and your dog before taking care of them. This way I can know what your expectations are of me and can get a feel for the dog's personality. I grew up with golden retrievers and am therefore most comfortable with that specific breed, but I love dogs of all kinds as long as they are friendly! I've been around dogs with all sorts of personalities and know that every dog has their quirks, but I'd love to learn everything from where your dog's favorite place to be scratched is to what makes them nervous or can set them off in order to provide the best care possible.
A typical day
I love exploring nature trails and finding new paths to run in my free time and therefore know of many places that would be ideal for dog walking. I love playing with dogs whether that means fetch, tug of war, frisbee, you name it!
