Your dog is a cherished member of your family, and I will provide it with attention and care as if it were a member of mine. I believe in treating pets with love, respect and attention. I have cared for small, medium and large dogs and puppies of all ages. I adopted my first dog, an Eskie, when she was a year old. At the time of adoption, she had behavioral issues from past trauma. I set about demonstrating that no matter how she behaved, I would treat her with love and respect and never, ever hurt (‘punish’) her. If she nipped at me, I didn’t raise my voice, but only pet her and told her I loved her. She listened her fear and became a very sweet, loving dog, who enjoyed going on walks and runs together, and sitting outside in the sunshine. In fact, she taught me a lot too - I learned from her how to slow down and notice the little things in the world around me, enjoying each moment as it comes.
