Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was born. Since I was 8, I have been responsible for my own pets - cats and dogs - and have loved them dearly! During high school and college I worked as a house and pet sitter, helping me pay my way through. Most of my business was generated through word of mouth. I have cared for young dogs, elderly dogs, not so friendly dogs, shy and chatty cats. Recently, I had a special needs cat who needed medication orally and topically, so I am able to pill cats if needed and can likely do the same for dogs. I also regularly volunteer as a dog walker for the Sonoma Humane society, so I am comfortable walking dogs I'm not familiar with and take it as slow as needed. If you are looking for a well rounded, responsible pet sitter, look no further!

As stated above, I am comfortable with a variety cat and dog personalities and ages. My philosophy is to gage my care based on the pets needs, owners guidence, and pets level of comfort. I don't push boundaries unless it is a safety or health issue. I have learned to read cat and dog body language well so I know when I need to back up or when attention is needed.

I like to set up a meet & greet to make sure your pet is comfortable with me but I also need to know the following. Does you pet have: special needs, medications, reactive tendencies, time limit or minim activity levels, food allergies, vet contact information and any other pertinent information regarding your pet.
A typical day
I can take your dogs on walks, runs, hikes, beach trots and more! I regularly visit Doyle Park which is a great safe space for friendly dogs to interact and play.

Availability
My schedule is open currently. I have my own dog that I take to the park in the morning and at night but otherwise am available. If your dog is friendly and needs some excersise, they can join us too!
