Your dog will be loved like our family dog while they stay with us. I'm home full time with my family, and can provide play time, walks, and outdoor time. My two kids are "dog-friendly" thanks to their patient "big sister," a eight-year-old lab mix named Charlie (and she loves having doggy sleepovers). We have a large fenced back yard and lots of walk-able areas to explore. Night walks always include safety lights for all pups. I am comfortable providing medicines if needed. My previous experience caring for other people's pets include daily dog walking and house sitting while the client was at work. I will provide daily pictures and updates of our activities. We keep the upstairs and basement fenced off so dogs don’t get into things they shouldn’t. Bathroom breaks happen every 2-4 hours, or as needed. I'm excited to host dogs in our home so you can have peace of mind while you are away! New clients and first time bookings: I require a meet and greet at my backyard so we can decide if your pet will be a good fit for my care. It allows the best experience for your dog. Because of this, I cannot take same day or last minute bookings for new pets. Please allow a minimum of two weeks between your request and the dates of your booking so that we can attempt a meet and greet. If I am unable to schedule a meet and greet before your requested booking, I will not be able to host your pet. I am home all day with the exception of school pick up and drop off and occasional appointments. I am not gone for more than 1-2 hour chunks of time. Our backyard is fenced, and I don’t leave dogs unattended outdoors. We fence off the upstairs and basement so that curious pups can’t get into things they shouldn’t. Night walks always have safety lights.
