Hi, I’m Becca. I have worked as a professional dog walker and carer flexibly for over 2 years, both self-employed and as part of a small team, providing enriching walks exploring Dartmoor and Devon/Cornwall beaches. I’ve also enjoyed caring for and walking friends and family’s various pets for many years, whether helping out a neighbour in the evenings after school or house & dog-sitting for several weeks at a time. I currently work part-time for the RSPCA, as well as previously volunteering at various rescue centres, walking dogs and providing day to day care and enrichment to all kinds of companion animals, including cats, guinea pigs and rabbits . In the past I have also volunteered for the local mountain search and research dog team as a “dogsbody”, involving being out in all weathers (rain or shine!) and playing endless hours of fetch to assist in training S&R dogs. I’ve loved spending time with and caring for animals from a young age and after finishing school decided to pursue my love for animals through my education; I’ve recently completed a Masters in Human-Animal relations. I’ve recently lost both my beloved companions, my spaniel Tig and cat Ebony. I have really missed spending time caring for them and it would be a privilege to provide that care for your own family members.
