Play + Learn = Tired & Happy Dog

Pet care experience

Hi! I love animals and am a professional dog trainer who enjoys integrating training and enrichment into walking, playing and daycare activities. I have three of my own dogs (Cheri, Lucy, and Trini) and one cat (Kenna). Dogs won’t see much of my cat, but my labs love to play with other friendly dogs. I can offer walk and train options and train & play options for daycare and boarding. Some of my training specialties are to help dogs with impulse control (watch me, waiting at doors, sit to be greeted, and so forth), walking nicely on a leash, increasing confidence, and providing opportunities for enrichment activities (agility, nose work, Kongs, food puzzles, etc.). I do this work because I believe that dogs who are exercised mentally, physically and socially (within their personality preferences) are more confident, calm and make better companions. When we have dogs that easily fit into our lifestyles, the humans and the pups are happier and it makes the world a better place for everybody.

Becca has a true love for dogs. She is really great at caring for individual dogs needs. Becca treats my dogs like family. She is very kind and caring, he passion for caring for dogs is second to none. Her home is extremely clean and organized. Becca is very responsible and has a very calm demeanor. Any pet would be safe and sound in her home.

Becca has always gone above and beyond in caring for her dogs. She is patient, gentle, kind and disciplined. She teaches those interacting with her dogs how to care for them, leaving them with skills they can use for their own dogs. Every dog she interacts with gets the same quality care she provides her own dogs. She is highly trained, knowledgeable, and experienced. Becca will not disappoint and you can feel comfort in knowing your dog(s) will be cared for!

I can't say enough about Becca and her love and care of all dogs . She is organized, dedicated, responsible, and amazing with dogs. Dogs really love her and she loves them. Becca is concerned with their health and safety. She makes her own healthy dog treats, takes them for walks, plays with them, and treats them as part of the family. She has volunteered and trained dogs for CCI for years. She does not do it for money, but for the love and enjoyment she gets out of caring for these furry friends. She is very reliable and would do a great job. I would definately recommend Becca as a dog sitter and would trust her with their care and safety.

Information Becca A. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences but I do need to know if your dog has food allergies, has ever bit anybody or has issues with other dogs, people, or children. I also like to know if your dog is a habitual barker.

A typical day

We live by an extensive trail system where we can take long walks. I also have agility equipment, lots of toys, kiddie pools when it’s hot, and my own sweet dogs to play with. When it’s very hot or very cold I also have a large basement where the dogs play in an open space. Dogs for daycare and boarding get snacks and puzzle down time. I believe that good behavior is part of life and play so we always incorporate learning into everything we do.
