Biologist needs more time with pups
Pet care experience
I worked at a dog boarding kennel/daycare for over a year as a senior kennel attendant. I spent time playing with the pups, cleaning kennels, feeding, and medicating pups as needed. I also work as a biologist full time and have devoted my career to animal care. I am available in the evenings on weekdays, and all day on weekends (3 out of four weekends; I work one weekend at my full time job). I love ALL animals but really enjoy interacting with pups! I currently am owned by two cats (they are the bosses of the house) but I don’t have space for a dog yet. My parents have a golden retriever, Kotah, and he is the greatest dog. I live about an hour from my parents, but I do love going home to visit Kotah (and my family, I suppose!).

Becca is the most responsible person I know! She cares for all animals and is well loved by them. My dog, a stubborn Shiba Inu, isn’t exactly one that likes everyone and it takes him a while to warm to people. Becca was patient with him and now they’re BFFs! She cares for him like he was her own, and she knows how much he means to me and wouldn’t let anything happen to him. She’s timely and kind hearted and will always put your pets best interest above anything else!

A typical day
I can take the dogs on their normal route or explore new routes. I do enjoy walking the path at the Arboretum in Freeman too. I really love interacting with dogs one-on-one so I would be playing with them (fetch, maybe working on training, etc) as much as possible.
