As a dog mom to 2 of my own energetic fur balls, I’m always up for a good, long hike, especially if it involves new doggo friends. Although Rover defaults to “30-minute walks”, unless you specify otherwise, expect your dog to be out running and playing with me for much longer than that. I have a truck specifically outfitted for muddy paws after each adventure and don’t mind stopping by the dog wash before I bring them home. I’m also a huge proponent of days spent at the lake throwing tennis balls and frisbees. Are you afraid your dog may not be suited for a long hike with other dogs? That’s totally ok! I’m completely happy to provide individual walks/playtime around your neighborhood. Also, rest assured that your little buddy will be loved on while in my care just as much (if not more - ha!) as if he/she were my own! I’m particularly keen on high-energy, high-drive dogs such as shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and any other “working” breed. I make it my personal mission to send each pup home thoroughly exhausted.
