Hi my name is Beatriz, I was lucky enough to be raised by pet lover parents in a ranch in South America. We literally homed any dog that showed up. I come from a large family so we all had to help with feeding, grooming and taking care of not only our farm dogs but our horses, cats, birds, chickens, cows, goats etc, so I DO HAVE MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE! I also own a farm with 10 acres in TX where prior to moving here I had pretty much any pet that can easily be outside and self reliant so I had: 3 horses, 1 cow, 1 bull, a few goats, chickens, a rooster, cats but never had time for a dog as I worked full time and have always been aware of how much they need a full time fur mom at home and could not wait for the opportunity to have one! My husband Doug and I are BOTH DOG LOVERS and were blessed to have had the love our TiTi for several yrs. He was abandoned in this neighborhood and Doug rescued him. Sadly, he was diagnosed on 8/31 last year with lung cancer and was given 3 weeks to live. We become his 24/7 hospice nurses and never wasted a precious minute with him until he passed in our arms while kissing him until he took his last breath which in turn took mine/ours as well :,( We have cried non stop and mourned him for the past year. We are ready to give away all the stored love we have not been able to give TiTi to one FOSTER dog at a time and hopefully to other LUCKY dog we get to be parents of while you are away on vacation or just at work. We had TiTi 24/7 with us and we can make it seem that way to you while you are apart via video camera, texts and videos sent to you frequently as many as you want. We know how hard it is for you and your fur baby to be apart so please TRUST us with your most precious jewel, your fur baby! We will only be taking one dog per day as we are also new to FOSTERING one dog at a time. We can provide all the references you want and we want to meet and greet prior to taking the responsibility of watching your fur love (hard for me to call them dogs, lol) We live in a tree (3) acre home (ranch style) here in Launiopoko and plan to take your pet for hikes and beach time park down our hill. Look forward to meeting you and your fur love, Doug & Bea ( D&B Pet Resort) :-) :-) Doug and I are retired and like to stay busy around our property with lots of projects but NEVER too busy for a mourning or sunset hike (around 4 miles) so your pet will get more then 30 mins walks (unless advised less time), never too busy to play, brush and love your fur baby! We love to walk along the beach too to cool off and get him/us some exercise! :) We own our private, peaceful and cozy home on three (3) acres on top of the Launiopoko Subdivision. We often hike the Maui Forest Reserve behind us, walk on the trail down the road as well and we visit nearby beaches as well. Your pet will get plenty of love, care and exercise as well. I have never taken care of a dog that has to be in crate but open to doing that as long as he uses it only as a safety little nest to rest. I can't keep him/her in it all day long :( We just signed up to he FOSTER parents trough HARF (we lost our fur bb 1 yr ago so not ready to have one yet as we plan to travel) so your pet will have a well behaved, friendly and healthy buddy to play with during the day! :)
