I work from home which means I'm always present to take care of your dog's needs. Is s/he reassured by having someone around during the day? I'm there! Does s/he need a mid-day walk? I'm home so it's not a problem! I'm active and always looking for a companion to join me on my daily walks and/or runs. Not your dog's pace? That's fine, too. Being home all day gives me the flexibility to adapt to your dog's schedule - whether it's shorter, more frequent walks or lots of exercise several times a day, I can make it happen. I grew up with Jetson, a large, kind and incredibly loyal Yellow Lab - he was really and truly the best. He passed when I was in college and I've done everything I can to keep pets in my life ever since even when living in small apartments and during three years abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I did a lot of pet sitting for friends while living in Washington, DC where my landlord wouldn't let us have a long-term furry friend. My friends will tell you how much I love dogs and how good I am at taking good care of them while their owners are away. My fiancé and I live in a two bedroom unit with ample outdoor space. We're a smoke-free, pet-free and child-free (for now) home. We have an outside patio area and yard and we're across the street from a corner park and just a block away from the larger Burns Park. We recently moved to Ann Arbor so John can go to graduate school. Please note that I cannot accommodate requests for long-term (one month or more) services as my business travel schedule does not allow it.
