I want to thank everyone who has chosen me to care for their pets over the years I am officially retiring. Thanks for your trust!!! I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Veterinary Technician with many years of experience. I am honest and mature. I do not drink, smoke, etc. Your pet(s) will be in qualified hands. If medications need to be given I have the skill set to complete that for you. I have been a dog (and especially cats too) lover all of my life. One might say that my life has gone to the dogs and cats. I have even spend a full night without sleep helping my neighbor's dog have puppies, including a trip to the emergency hospital for a retained placenta. I have watched another neighbor's pet ducks which hatched a full brood of ducklings. I know how to care for fish, both fresh and saltwater. I owned canaries, finches and an African Grey, and have many plants, some I have nurtured for decades My experience administering medication There is an occasional cat that I have not been able to pill, but they are few and far between. I can give fluids, SQ or IV if needed (I do not have the supplies- you would need to contact your veterinarian for any medications). Any prescription drugs given, must have been prescribed by a veterinarian.

I would like to know of the dog's personality. I can find most dog's favorite massage spots. Who is your pet's veterinarian and who I would need to contact while you are away, in the event of an emergency. I will go over feeding, and potty schedules, as well as any medical needs, to insure your pet receives the care you expect.
A typical day
I will spend as much time as you wish. This will be discussed at the meet and greet. Some cats get stressed and less time may be indicated. But this would be discussed prior to final arrangements. I do work part time one day per week at the SPCA. If your animal is to be walked, we will discuss where they usually walk. For safety reasons, please let me know if your pet has any aggression issues, and dog aggression may be a reason I will not accept an assignment. This is to provide the best experience for you, your pet and myself. Extra house-sitting services I will check the mail, water plants (I have well over 50 house plants myself). Other duties can be discussed.

Availability
I prioritize meeting all obligations to care for your pet to meet or exceed your expectations. I do work part time at the SPCA, so my schedule will be discussed prior to accepting any assignments which include the day I work. Although I work, my days are generally five hours or less per day, and usually just one day per week.
