CAN'T HELP IT- DOGS LOVE ME!
Pet care experience
Some people say that I have a "dog spirit". I have a very close bond with my 4 yr. old German Shepherd. We really understand each other and have a great time walking, playing ball, hiking and running nearly every day. I've been taking care of my own dogs for over seven years and have raised them from pups. I will quickly become good friends with your dog, and make sure he/she gets the exercise and attention they need, while having lots of fun at the same time! I have experience grooming dogs with both coarse and fine grooming tools and they seem to enjoy it. I also know how to spot & remove ticks if necessary. Experienced with walking dogs off leash as well.

Barry did a great job connecting with my Pit Bull and getting him to cooperate with him. He really seems to have a good way with dogs, and my dog definitely enjoyed his company. Barry walked my dog on multiple occasions and also made house calls to play and feed my dog. Would definitely use him again.
Barry did a great job taking care of my Dalmatian. He came over and fed him, played in the yard and took him for walks while I was out of town. My dog is usually not so friendly to new people, but Barry seemed to have a way with him that put my dog at ease. When I got back, they were like pals! Would surely use him again.
Barry did some pet sitting for us and walked our Jack Russell terrier. I found him to be very professional, well mannered and good with my dog. My terrier isn't always the friendliest dog, but Barry managed to get him to happily engage in play and be very cooperative during his walks. Barry send me some pictures that gave me confidence that all was well and that my dog was well cared for. I would gladly use him again.

A typical day
My favorite walks are in places like Wildcat or Tilden Parks, or in the El Cerrito hills open space. I love playing a version of soccer with my dog, where she defends a "goal" and I kick tennis balls at her. I enjoy playing catch and fetch with a ball or a frisbee. I like to let my dog off the leash in parks to let her run freely in the grass or on a trail, which she appreciates. I enjoy playing tug of war with a rope and making her search for the rope.
