I've fostered, owned, or pet-sat all sizes and breeds - small terriers, medium hounds, large labs, super-large danes, and everything in between. I can adapt to almost any dog personality as I have both a grouchy older dog and a younger, goofy dog myself. We can have a chat about your dog and decide what is best environment and routine for him/her while you are away. As an owner, you should know that your dog will become part of my family and treated as such. We are an animal-loving family. Part of our brood does include two kitties; however, because I have larger dogs of my own, the cats are extremely tolerant. The cats go in and out; and they've been known to stay out when there's too much doggie shenanigans in the house. : ) Because we have a screened in porch, we also have the ability to keep the cats separate from the dogs if the need arises.

My daughters and I (13 and 15) live on five acres in the country with very tolerant neighbors. Our property is surrounded by hay fields, so we have ideal walking locations. We love to take our dogs in the woods to a nearby creek and let them be dogs. Whether we are outside enjoying the property or inside on the couch, we love having our dogs nearby. Dogs that I pet-sit become part of our "pack".
