Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Barbara and I’ve recently moved to Pensacola from Natchitoches, Louisiana where for the past 10 years, I pet sat and fostered animals for the Natchitoches Humane Society. I also grew up taking care of our family pets, which included dogs, cats, and parrots. I’ve also taken care of horses. I’m comfortable taking care of senior and special needs animals. I have a toy poodle who has primary epilepsy, so I know how to care for dogs during a seizure and know the signs of when to take them to the vet. I also regularly pet sat for a senior dog with cancer and a restrictive diet. During visits, I enjoy loving on the animals, playing with them, and taking dogs for walks. I also love taking photos and will send pictures and videos to you with updates. I’m new to Pensacola, but not new to taking great care of animals. I’d love to take care of your pets!

Barbara was such a joy! She was attentive to our dog, Scout and kept us up to date with videos and photos of her having fun. A typical day
I have a fenced in backyard where your dog(s) can run around and play. My dad is almost always home (he’s retired) & I recently started a temporary job at Walmart. I work from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm and my days off are not consistent. Our black lab loves to meet new dogs and is very playful. If your dog usually goes on walks I will walk them around the neighborhood to keep to their routine. We also have a basket full of toys for them to play with and are always up for playtime.
