I am a retired woman and live in a private home. Being an avid animal lover, nothing could make me more happier than to give your dog a comfortable stay, - a home away form home. My home is cozy and dog proof. I have an open and spacious backyard that is securely barricaded. I enjoy taking care of all types of dogs. Dogs are like family and I enjoy being around them. I love going for long, or short walks in the park and giving lots of love to all types of dogs. I have tons of experience with all different breeds. As of now, I do not have a dog of my own, so your dog would have my undivided attention. Rest assured your fur baby will be well looked after!

Barbara was excellent with our two small dogs! We especially appreciated her constant and prompt communication, and how easy it was to book boarding with her. We were scrambling to find someone to watch our dogs when we discovered that we couldn't bring them with us, and were able to talk to her on Thursday and drop our two dogs off on Friday morning! She constantly kept us abreast of what she and the dogs were doing together; they went on walks, to the park, and even got a little steak snack :) Our dogs loved sunbathing on her porch and definitely had a great time. Barbara was fantastic and we would highly recommend her for any dog parents looking for a loving home-away-from-home for their pups!
Could not have asked for anyone better to watch our boys!! We were coming to NY to visit family and friends for a belated memorial for my father in law and had to book on Rover without getting to do a meet and greet before hand with Barbara, but she made us feel so comfortable. She called to clarify and ask follow up questions to ensure a safe stay as our dogs are older and needed some meds and had a lot of special instructions that came along with them. We talked several times before the drop off date, which really made it feel like we knew each other and increased our comfort even more so. She sent us pics and videos of all the fun walks and naps which also helped us not to miss them so much. We feel like we have a “go to” dog sitter now if we ever need it again in NY. ❤️
Barbara is awesome! Mocha & Chino had a blast! She is very attentive and great with my pups! We will definitely be calling Barbara more often!
