I left my Lilly in great hands when I had to go out of town. Barbara did a great job in introducing her pack to Lilly and getting to know a little bit about Lilly instead of us simply dropping her off. So....when the day came to drop Lilly off, Lilly felt right at home (boy, did she). One of the reasons I chose Barbara is for her experience and for her dog first aid training. She knows her stuff and I know I didn't have to worry a bit about her stay. I would highly recommend Barbara! I also like using Rover.com because it gives dog owners the option of placing their furry kids in the hands of a great caretaker (like Barbara) instead of boarding, which involves kenneling. I am especially sensitive to this as Lilly is a rescue who came to us as very timid and untrusting soul with a permanently injured eye. I would never want her to think that she has been abandoned again!

Barbara was great with our four month old puppy. She was super accommodating to our schedule and took him on multiple walks, as well as shared photo updates during his stay. I could tell my puppy felt super comfortable with her while I was gone. Would definitely recommend!
