Pet care experience
I have had pets all of my life and love babying them. I love speaking to pets in full sentences. I am partial to pit bulls, so your blocky-headed baby is not going to scare me off. I love taking my friend’s dog, Hannah, to Rough River lake or various parks in Owensboro. I think consistency is key to a happy pup or kitty. Hannah seems to prefer breaking up her day with multiple walks and outings. She goes to the store with me and has her very own seat belt. She even has a water bowl that stays on my center console. She enjoys popping in and out of the automatic door in my minivan since it is low, it is easy for her old joints. I consider animal rescue to be our family business.

So very grateful to spend the holidays with family out-of-state with the comfort of knowing my fur baby was well taken care of and happy in his own space. Barbara did a wonderful job interacting with my cat Oliver (honoring his favorite activities and toys) and maintaining a routine to keep anxiety levels low. Regular photos and report cards kept me informed and engaged with his care while I was traveling. Thank you, thank you!
Barbara checks in on my German shepherd every now and then if we will be gone for the day. She’s always very easy to book with and I love how many pictures she includes with her visit. She seems like she truly cares and I know my dog is safe with her!
I am new to Rover & completely felt at ease when I met Barbara. Biscotti (soft coat wheaten terrier) is getting older & has ‘his own way’ of how life should be! Barbara was So patient with him & fully embraced his quirks! My husband was home with Biscotti at night & said he was always happy/content/calm (did I mention he’s a terrier?! LOL) “Barbara! TY so much! You are a keeper!”
