Pet care experience
I have been owned by Malamutes and Jack Russells since I was 18! (trust me that's been decades!) I've worked with dogs and horses for the majority of my life. The past 15 years, I've been involved with rescue work, assisting with fostering, transport, fundraising, assessing, rehabbing and adoptions. I have advocated for animals/wildlife my entire life! To say I love creatures is an understatement! I am comfortable with providing meds if needed, light walks and tons of love and general care! Give yourself peace of mind when you are away be it at work, or the weekend with having me assist you with continuing the love of your critter(s)! I also have a lifetime of experience with horses and can assist with ranch/farm sitting and care while you are away.

I always work with my clients to have as little disruption as possible for the animal(s). I will spend the time loving on them and making sure they have what is needed. Photos and texts (or a call) will be sent to each client, as I feel that is important. If you are gone and need me to come in multiple times, the same thing will hold true. While I do not offer overnights, I can do multiple check ins for extended times.

Special needs, any aggression/fear/concerns with a stranger coming to their home. Treats they like (I bake organic treats!), training, commands. If they are going on a short walk are they reactive to other dogs, how...what is used as a correction command, etc.
A typical day
I work discuss with their human what their canine enjoys doing and go from there. I am able to do only short, slower type walks, due to my own knees being tired out! In home visits and play time will be spent probably in their yard doing whatever they enjoy the most! It's so incredibly important to keep them on the schedule they are use to and provide the stimulation they are most use to!

Availability
I'm an early morning person! I will be available to do 'check ins' throughout the day, light walks and will be doing pet sitting at your home, however, staying overnight would be difficult as I have a senior companion of my own! I do not set a schedule, as I feel those of us owned by a four legged buddy, may need assistance at an odd time. Face it every day they need us, and not everyone works a M-F schedule!
