Pet care experience
Long time local resident with over 30 years experience caring for dogs. My first job was at a kennel and from there I've almost always had 2 dogs of my own. I have pet & house sat for many years. I'm honest & reliable. Right now, I'm an active empty nester with one sweet boy, Sova and one black cat named Frank. My backyard is large (2+acres) with lots of roam to run around and explore. Your dog will have "free range" in my home. I'll provide walks around the block, go on trails or frequent a nearby dog park. I'm flexible. I know life is busy. If you entrust your beloved dog with me, you can be assured I'll treat them as family. They'll get plenty of love, exercise and they'll have fun!

Barbara cared for my golden retriever for 6 nights and was so wonderful to her! She really learned Mollys preferences and tendencies and made her right at home. We got plenty of updates and photos while away and she even gave Molly a bath before sending her home. We would love to use her again in the future.
Barbara took care of our yellow lab Kobe over father's Day weekend and was a pleasure to work with. She came to our meet and greet with a printed sheet from the Rover website with Kobe's care instructions on it and was very thorough and professional. We had to change plans for drop off and pickup several times and Barbara was very flexible and accommodating . Plus, we received a bunch of nice photos of Kobe during his stay! I would highly recommend Barbara and will certainly use her services again.
I highly recommend Barbara to look after your furry family member! She is a very warm and caring person with many years of experience in handling pets of varied breeds. She is able to help train if needed and has a large outdoor space for your dog to explore and play. Having a dog of her own, and being a local for many years, she knows all the best places to go dog-walking. She looked after my dog, Cornelius the Jack Russell. It's the perfect home away from home.
