Pet care experience
My name is Barb and I have been in the dog business for a life time. I'm not old I'm experienced! I don't believe in cages while your gone. At my home if your on vacation so is your dog. I own my own herd of 5 girls. I have one breeder who is pregnant at the moment. I am a responsible breeder not a puppy mill. I have given over 14 years to raising and breeding service dogs for the blind. And I pride myself with leaders walking all over the world! I own and run a successful grooming, training, breeding and boarding business in Northern Michigan. My home is spotless, safe and free of any harmful chemicals. We go Natural around my home. I live on a beautiful pristine lake and summertime at my home is everything FUN. Boat rides. Frisbee Fun and all. For me, it's an honor that you share your dog with me.

Meet my pets I have 5 dogs and all my k-9 customers who support me and my business. I like to take dogs that are cream puffs! Their good dogs like my girls. Housebroken of course! Dogs that just want to please us. We enjoy our boarders. We even send photos so you can feel secure and able to enjoy your time away. I have horror stories of when I left a house/pet sitter with my girls. Never again! That's why I do this. I know how it felt not being able to find someone to watch my dogs so I can go away. We give our boarders time to adjust to mom and dad leaving them with a stranger. But believe me when I say it is not long before they come out of the dog room to join my family. I have kennels inside also, if that's what you and your pet prefer. If their sick I kennel them in my doggie room with fireplace roaring mind you, sick dogs want to be left alone. I can handle what ever you throw at me.

I would prefer females because I have all females. I can't have any dog that mark everything, has fleas and is sick. or can't get along with other animals because then I have to kennel them. Inside of course. My doggie room is awesome!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Up in Northern Michigan is beautiful for walks. Very rustic and quiet country roads. No cars! Just peace and quiet. It's my walk! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Depending of the nature of your dog and what their use to. I try to take into consideration their habits and needs and my girls habits and needs. But, I really like to be able to incorporate your pet in to my family. Time I'll spend with your dog I have a business I run from my home. So I'm home everyday and I'll be with your pet all day long. I usually don't go any where when I have boarders. My rule!

Why I love dog sitting I was born a dog lover. I have never been without a dog my whole entire life. But, I became hooked and knew this is was what I wanted to do my whole life. I was about 14 when I arrived home from school to find my papa passed out n the basement floor. Everything went thru my mind. There were 6 kids to feed and back then that was allot. So my papa decided to know knock up our German Sheppard Lady. Papa couldn't stand the sight of blood and passed out when he saw puppies coming out of her. I delivered 14 puppies under the stairs of a Michigan basement. I was hooked! P
