Bryce Canyon Pooch Retreat
Pet care experience
I am 20 miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park where dogs are not allowed on the trails. I am retired but an active animal-lover and am available 24/7 to make your dog's stay safe, fun and secure. You can rest assured your pet will have as much fun as you will on your vacation. I have no other animals or people to distract me from caring for your pets. I will text or email videos and photos of your pups enjoying their vacay each day so you can enjoy your trip or workday worry-free.

Barbara was amazing taking care of our baby girl, Phoenix, while we hiked in Bryce Canyon! We dropped her off for doggy daycare two days in a row, and Phoenix loved it! Barbara took her on lots of walks and sent us pictures throughout the day. Thank you so much, Barbara!!

I have a large unfenced yard so I always keep pets on a leash for potty breaks or walks. I live in a rural area where there is little traffic and many roads and trails for daily exercise.

I welcome any house-trained, well-behaved dogs over 1 year that are spayed or neutered. I have a lot of experience with older dogs that need a quiet stay plus energetic dogs that prefer lots of exercise.
A typical day
I typically take dogs on at least 2 walks a day, always on roads where there is no interaction with other dogs, people or animals off-leash.
