Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of a Golden Retriever and absolutely love dogs! Your puppy (no matter what age or size) will be treated as part of my family while he/she stays with us. Adam and I are both dog people who enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring what the area has to offer. Your dog will have full access to our home during the day and night, as long as there are no accidents or damage, or unless you prefer otherwise. We cannot wait to spend time caring for your fur-babies!

Barb and her husband were great with out 9 week old puppy! She came home super happy and tired and they took such good care of her.
Barbara was wonderful with our pets. Somehow in my haste to leave on our trip, we locked our kitty in a bedroom. I can not believe we did it but Barbara rescued him. She loved on our babies and sent plenty of pictures. We are so grateful!

To ensure your pet's safety, they will always be on leash during our walks. If we are in a dog park environment, I will make sure to keep an eye out for any aggressive behaviors and remove myself and your dog from these situations asap.

All breeds are welcome! Before taking care of your dog, I would like to meet you and them to make sure we are a good match. Details about age, breed, and exercise level will help plan our fun activities. I would also like to know what their personality is like so that we can keep an eye out for any abnormal behavior.
A typical day
Your dog will take walks around our neighborhood and relax/cuddle while we watch TV at night. Playtime will be outside whenever possible. In inclement weather, we will find brain-stimulating activities!

Availability
I currently do not work full-time, so your dog will have company for the majority of the day. If no one is home, the dog will be in a crate. If they are well behaved and we can trust them, they may earn the privilege of roaming the house when no one is home. This is a case-by-case basis.
