Pet care experience
I love animals and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, and a horse. I also have professional experience with animals not only as a volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital, but also worked two years as a kennel technician for Guide Dogs for the Blind, helping care for the dogs, including walking, bathing, feeding and helping administer any medications. I have many years experience as a pet sitter for my friends and family, as I am the go-to person for pet and house sitting and typically pet sit at least several times a year. I am clean, respectful and will take good care of your pets and your home. My availability is flexible; however, late mornings to early evenings are best for me.

Barbara is the best pet sitter ever! She goes above and beyond in caring for pets. I'm super attached to my fur babies, and Barbara made me feel 100% comfortable while I was away, which is amazing! I'm usually worried about them whenever I'm gone, but Barbara's detailed care and caring personality made me feel calm and secure; I knew that my cat and parakeet were in great hands! She's very knowledgable about all kinds of animals, and she's really great with sending picture updates and even facetimed me multiple times so I could say hi to Mixie and Emmy. Highly, highly recommend!
Barbara has taken excellent care of my cat and my home on multiple occasions. She came highly recommended by a friend and I am so grateful that Barbara is now the first person I will call anytime I need a cat sitter. She knows cats well and is living and caring. Barbara first cat sat for us for a 12 day trip. She was easy to meet with in advance and came directly to my house to meet Barney my cat before I went out of town. She graciously stayed at the apartment for the 12 days I was out of town. Then a month later when I had another trip, it was easy to know that Barbara was who I’d want to look after Barney. She came again for a more extended stay. She communicates regularly with updates and even offered to FaceTime so I could see Barney and he could hear my voice. It was really generous and appreciated because I was away for many weeks and missed him. When she stays in my home I am always amazed by how hard it is to spot her presence after I return. She made me a lovely cake to come home to and the apartment was clean and the plants were well cared for. She is welcome back anytime! Barbara is very self-sufficient, tidy and caring. She is responsible and reliable. I give her a very high recommendation.
Barbara has cat sit for me many times now, when my husband and I have gone out of town. She is by far my best ever cat sitter and I have connected other cat friends with her because I think she is so amazing. She loves our babies like her own and is equally caring with our place, always leaving our place clean and perfect to come home to. I am rather private and letting random people into my home, staying in my home, is not something I am easily comfortable with but I feel completely comfortable and trusting with Barbara. She is respectful, communicative, professional, mature, and caring. She is thorough, proactive, and thoughtful which shows in her asking all the questions I want a pet sitter to ask. My cats are always content and clearly well taken care of with lots of love and attention when we get home from trips.
Barbara was responsible, warm with the animals, and cooperative in making the arrangements. I recommend her very highly!
