I go the extra mile-literally!
Pet care experience
I’m teaching myself to train dogs building on my prior experience with my family dogs with lots of TLC: Trust, Love, and Control. Since 2013, I’ve professionally helped several people with pet care. At my apartment, your pups can expect snuggles, a furniture policy that’s consistent with your family’s, and plenty of long walks around the neighborhood. I like to take my furry guests to Lowe’s, Petsmart, and my dad’s house to spend time with his dog-loving girlfriend and her beagle! Whether your pets are in my home or yours, they can expect to receive lots of love and attention from me. I’ve got to warn you, though, that I have an arsenal of dog grooming tools and a love for brushing dogs!
Reviews
Barbara was great with our 2 dogs. She was very caring and attentive with them.
Barbara is awesome! Not only did she take great care of our Obi, she was nice enough to clip her nails too (did us a huge favor by doing so!). She kept in touch with me all throughout the day and sent pics too. We’ll definitely be booking her again ?
Barbara is such a wonderful human. Her compassion and love of dogs is evident in all she does. She’s reliable, friendly, and an amazing person. Any dog would be lucky to know her!
Barbara is caring, trustworthy, professional, and punctual. I would trust her with my pet anytime, including for a long vacation. She really loves animals and provides excellent care.

I live in a second-story apartment with a securely fenced balcony. If needed, I can set up puppy pads on the balcony for urgent potty needs. I live in a safe apartment complex with lots of friendly dogs and dog lovers! Still, though, I always walk dogs on a leash and veto any meetings with anyone who barks or otherwise looks aggressive. I come to dog walks ready with my own waist lead and anti-slip leads. The anti-slip leads are both 6 feet long, half an inch wide, and each has an anti-choking buckle and an anti-slip leather notch. Nopuppy’s slipping out on my watch! In cases where I have more than one dog, the worst-behaved gets double-leashed that one. It’s a very rare exception when I let anypup off-leash in an unfenced setting (such as a doggy friend’s backyard) and I make sure to keep a close eye on her at all times.

Information Barbara B. would like to know about your pet
First and foremost, I want to know whether your pup is housebroken or not. I have a carpeted apartment and I want to keep it clean. For that reason, I make it a point to take each furry guest I have for a long walk before bringing her into my apartment and take her for frequent potty breaks. Additionally, I want to know whether your dog has any allergies or any other special needs.
A typical day
I like to take dogs for long walks to explore the multiple dog-friendly apartment complexes and visit the Lowe’s in my neighborhood. If I can arrange it, I might have a dog-loving friend or two over to come see the dog I’m watching! If your dog gets along well with other dogs, I might bring her to my dad’s house to see his dog-loving girlfriend and her beagle!
