Pet care experience
Previous owner of successful animal boarding facility and former president of the Vero Beach/Indian River County Humane Society for 3 years. My home is quiet, peaceful and boarders are safe and comfortable while receiving special attention and lots of love . Walking is usually their favorite treat appreciating the outside for longer periods durin;g the cooler part of the day. Also the pets can enjoy my doggie door used for entry to the courtyard {playground) which makes them happy and affords the pets less confinement. I play fetch and give rewards for no reason at all. They trust me and I love them.. I have boarded all types of animals including cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, a young wolf, and all types and sizes of dogs. Dogs are my favorite!! All I can say is that I enjoy having pets around my house.....

Barb was so amazing! I was a first time user and I was extremely happy with how Barb took care of my two precious babies. I highly recommend her!???
We were apprehensive since we have only had Brandy for about 6 months and have not left her. We need not worry, Barb did a great job, sending pictures almost every day. I think she had fun with the other two dogs. I will definitely keep Barb in mind for our next trip.
Oliver and Snap had a very good vacation with Barbara and her dog. We received pictures every other day and Barbara gave Oliver his pills. We will use Barbara again.

I have no breed preferences as long as they are under 40 pounds. I need to know if the pet is house broken, bites, chews, barks a lot, needs medication, has physical impairments, or needs any special care.
A typical day
We walk around my community and meet other people and pets. Also trips to the dog park brightens their day if the pet owner okays doing the park visiting.
