Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats all of my adult life. I am retired and now have plenty of time to devote to my passion of caring for animals. I've had volunteer positions at the Humane Society such as Cat Socialization, Dog Walking, Foster Care and Animal Care Volunteer. Having worked long days in my career, I know how difficult it can be to get a daily walk in with the dog, or to have a dedicated play time with pets. I can do that for you! I would be happy to drop in to care for your dog or cat. I can feed, play with, and even medicate your pet if needed. I am trustworthy and I treat all animals with respect. I will treat your pet as my own!

Barb takes wonderful care of my cat Leena including giving medication.
Barb has done a great job taking care of our cat, Sophie, in the past, but, this time, she had to go above and beyond, as Sophie was recovering from a tooth extraction, could not be fed her usual hard kibble, and Barb had to navigate between moistened kibble and canned food, depending on what Sophie would agree to eat. Barb was also knowledgeable enough to know how Sophie's behavior tied in with how she was doing, physically. It was a great relief to have Barb taking care of Sophie during this "post op" time.

A typical day
I would want to know your normal routine so I can do the same. I will play with your dog or cat with their favorite toys and will spend time petting, scratching or massaging them based on what they like.

I am retired and therefore very flexible. I can accommodate most requests. If I have a conflict I will work with you so that we are both accommodated.
