I've been surrounded my dogs of all breeds my entire life (dalmatians, cocker spaniels, weimaraners, german shepherds, golden retrievers, french bulldogs, and many, many mutts). I rescued my sweet Alaskan Husky, Aurora, last year, and have had so much fun training her and keeping her active! Aurora was originally medicated for anxiety, but in two short months, I was able to take her off her medication; she now responds to commands and can even go off leash. I truly believe all a dog needs is some good exercise to get rid of so many of their behavioral problems. I am an athlete at UGA, and therefore, my time is limited, but I will be available most weekends and early mornings and late evening on weekdays.
