Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Bailey and I have been living in Colorado for five years now with my two sweet dogs Maxwell and Lilly Mae. I am currently in school at Colorado State studying Equine Science, and my close proximity to the university allows me to check in on dogs and go for walks practically all throughout the day. I also live quite close to a dog-friendly park that the dogs love to walk and sniff around. My furry friends and I also enjoy taking a ride down to one of the local dogs parks to run around the playgrounds with the other dogs. For the majority of my life I have been living on farms and caring for all sorts of animals including dogs of all breeds, cats, horses, cows, goats, turkeys, and many other species. I have devote the past ten years on mainly large animal training, and have competed quite extensively in the sport of Three-Day Eventing. My training carries over to my dogs also, and I really rely on a soft yet firm guiding technique that establishes trust and confidence in the animal. Professionally, when I am not pet-sitting, I am at a local horse rescue that I work at training horses there. If I'm not working I am usually hiking or doing something fun outdoors! I enjoy yoga and relaxing with a good book too. On the weekends, when I have very open availability for boarding the dogs stick to a pretty strict, regular schedule. We start the day by getting up early (around 6 am) and go out for a nice walk. Then we come back in to have breakfast, where after about a hour we will go on another nice walk. I space the rest of the walks throughout the day in about two hour increments. We eat dinner at 5 pm, and we will go on two more walks before bed. The pups have play time all day in a nice, cozy, quiet environment with lots of toys, blankets, and couches.

Bailey is extraordinary as a person and with all animals. She works hard, is honest, has a great attitude with a go-getter personality. You will love her and so will your pets! I can't say enough good things about her and highly recommend Bailey for any position she is applying for.
