Pet care experience
I've always loved dogs, but my family has personally had a dog for 9 years who I have helped teach tricks and obedience skills. My senior year of high school, I actually trained her to star in our school's rendition of Annie! That being said, I really enjoy working with dogs (and most other animals) in all kinds of unique environments. In addition to experience with my own dog, I've been dog/cat sitting for neighbors since middle school, and I took care of several species of animals (turtles, a snake, and a bird) for a biology teacher at my high school for a semester. I had a parrot for 10 years growing up, and I now have my own parrot here at college with me. I've been dog-sitting through Rover since my sophomore year of college and am now a senior (graduating soon, yay!). Whatever assortment of pets you have at home, I'd love to learn whatever is needed to best take care of them!

Bailey was amazing! She kept our pack well taken care of and updated us on what they were up to. We have 3 large dogs and they were no problem for her. We had no worries while we were away for the weekend. She also did great with keeping us updated on the condition of one of our dogs who has severe allergy and skin issues. He has a special diet and needed multiple medications throughout the day. She kept him on his routine with no problems. We came back to worn out and happy pups. We could not have asked for a better sitter!
Bailey has been a blessing. She has dog sat and house sat for me and was wonderful at both! I'm so glad I have found someone I trust to take care of my pups.

Bailey is amazing! She has been walking my dog for about a month now and gives me a peace of mind knowing he is in good hands while I am away at work. She is always on time and I love that she sends me photos of my little fur baby! I would highly recommend Bailey to care for your pets!

Before I take care of your dog, I'd like to know: -If they have any prior obedience training -Any fears/quirks your dog has (e.g. my dog is afraid of thunderstorms and has a lot of trouble concentrating when there are squirrels around) -Any favorite toys or activities -Does your dog usually sleep in the bed with you? Note: I am most likely to be available given at least a 2 day notice. With a notice under 2 days, I may have trouble making room in my schedule for a booking. I'll always do my best to fit your dog(s) in.
A typical day
At home, I loved taking my dog on long hikes and playing in the yard. At college, I'm missing that. Whether it's walking or drop-in visits, your dog will get the full experience I'd give my dog back at home -- play time, engaging walks, exploring new areas, and plenty of belly rubs (if that's what floats their boat).
