Pet care experience
I have been on the Rover platform since 2018 and I absolutely love getting to know a variety of four-legged family members! My focus is on early morning and late evening/night visits, perfect for nurses, doctors, the military, hospitality workers or anyone with a crazy schedule! I am a lifelong pet owner who has experience with both dogs and cats of all ages, abilities and personalities. I grew up on a farm where we always had plenty of pets as well as working dogs and I currently have two pups of my own. I do have a fairly busy schedule but if you choose me to take care of your best friend I assure you I will care for him or her as if they are my own. I was so pleased with the wonderful care for my dog Bailey provided while I was away. Bailey was super responsive and helpful with picking up and dropping off my dog. She also took him for longer walks than expected and sent me some great pictures that made me smile when I was away. I would definitely recommend Bailey to my friends and I will be happy to have her care for my pet in the future.
We love Bailey! So thankful for her and her ability to connect with our pup. She takes great care of him and always sends us lots of details about his visits!
Bailey was absolutely amazing with our cats and kept us up to date with how they were doing the whole time. It was a huge relief knowing that they were being taken care of so well while we were gone and if I wasn't moving I would definitely be looking her up again for any future trips. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I would like to know if your dog has any leash-related habits, such as pulling or reactivity. I would also like to know if your dog has any allergies. For cat visits, I would like to know your standard feeding time and how often you scoop the litter box, as well as if your cat is more social or more reserved.
A typical day
I have two active dogs of my own and have been able to scout the local dog-friendly scene, so I am happy to take your pet to my favorite dog-friendly establishments, or to try out your favorites! For cats, I love letting them decide what our interaction is going to be. Have a curious critter who loves to play? Absolutely! Have a chill guy or girl who would rather just hang out in his or her own personal space? I will make sure the food and water supply is fresh and the litter box is clean and then give your pet the space he or she needs.

Availability
I am primarily available for early morning, early evening and late night walks. Daytime weekday walks and drop-ins are available on a case-by-case basis. I work full-time in DC on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, so my daytime availability is limited but if you are interested, please send me a message and we can discuss if I can modify my schedule to fit your needs.
