I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I often say they’re “people with fur” because they each have their own unique larger than life personalties and no two are the same. I have experience not only with my own dogs (6 in the past 18 years), current ones being a Welsh Cardigan Corgi puppy (lives with me) and a 2 yr old Doberman female (who lives with my boyfriend) and "co-owner" of my mom's chihuahua/pug puppy (she lives across the hall) but also working as a veterinarian assistant for a year in 2009 and with dogs owned by friends and family. I will treat your dog with the upmost respect and understand their boundaries as well as tons of cuddles, kisses and play time! I have experience giving medications to senior dogs and the patience it requires to help puppies learn their manners. Often dogs who are very shy or timid with strangers will take to me very quickly because I understand their need to figure things out for themselves and give them their space until they’re comfortable (which usually doesn’t take very long). I live near a great offleash dog park that I would be happy to take your baby to as long as they're ok with other dogs and are not aggressive. Please let me know of any special considerations needed to give your furbaby the best care possible and any medical or behavioural issues I should be aware of as well.
