NO SHORT-NOTICE REQUESTS PLEASE! I do not board a dog without first meeting the dog & owner to make sure you are a good fit for my dog and myself. So, I will not approve any short-notice requests!!! I've spent my whole life around multiple dogs. I was raised by my grandparents who often rescued strays. My grandparents cared for many different breeds. My grandma has a soft spot for chihuahuas and pitbulls so I've known several of those plus others, mostly mixed breeds. I started having real responsibility for a dog when I was in my early teens when my grandma got me my first chihuahua. Later, I got a terrier mix who I took to college with me, I assumed financial responsibility for the first time and learned even more about what it takes to keep a dog happy and healthy. I know that dogs are special; they are more than just pets. Dogs are members of the family and best friends.
