Work-from-home dog lover

Pet care experience

I've always had dogs in my life, either those of my own or foster dogs. Currently we have two lab/husky mixes, named Luna and Radar, who are the friendliest, mellowest dogs around. Though I'm most familiar with large dogs, I'm comfortable with any size or breed. I've fostered many dogs over the years (our dog, Radar was originally one of our fosters), so I have plenty of experience in working with new dogs. I can walk (or run) with your dog, feed them, play with them and clean up after them. I also have TONS of experience with dogs who have separation anxiety, so I like to say I specialize in helping dogs who aren't used to their people being gone.

Bailey was amazing with my newly rescued dog, she's very afraid of fast movement, new noises and people. All throughout the day she sent me pictures and gave me updates. I also booked for 2 days and didn't need her to watch my dog the 2nd day and she let me use it for another day!

Our first time using Rover for our two dogs, and Bailey was great. She was able to get us in on pretty short notice and didn’t mind looking after a few sutures that one of our dogs had at the time. Super easy to work with, very enjoyable to talk to, and our dogs looked very happy in all the pictures and when we picked them up. Would definitely take them to hear again.

I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own to keep yours company. We also have a doggy door that can be left open or closed, whichever you'd feel more comfortable with. We allow dogs on the furniture and in the bed, so they'll definitely get lots of snuggles. I work from home, so they'll never be left alone (I also have a dog with separation anxiety, so I like to say I specialize in it--no worries if your four-legged friend needs 24/7 care). We can also work on any skills you'd like, be that crate training, basic commands, running on a leash, etc.

Information Bailey B. would like to know about your pet

Any special care instructions for medications or food. Any particular routines like potty breaks, meal times, etc. Also, please let me know if your dog has any quirks or behavioral issues, like they don't care for other dogs or are really good at sneaking out. Having fostered stray dogs for years, I have a good handle on how to mitigate those issues and more, but it is helpful to know ahead of time.

A typical day

On weekends I love hiking and would be thrilled to bring your dog with on adventures while pet sitting. Or if just going for walks or to the dog park is more their speed, I'd be happy to do that, too. Monday through Friday I work from home, so we typically go for a long walk in the morning before work and then I allow the dogs to either hang out inside or outside while I work (we have a doggy door, so they can come and go as they please). After work, I like to go for another walk or to the dog park. Occasionally we go to Pub Dog or to a dog friendly brewery. If the weather isn't good, we like to all pile on the couch for a movie night.

I work from home, so your furry friend will never be left alone (if we do leave the house, it's to go somewhere dog-friendly and fun, like on a hike or to the farmers market). I can absolutely give them 24/7 supervision, if they need it/you want it.
