Pet care experience
I've been around dogs since I was 2 years old. My family always had at least two lovable pups at a time and as soon as I was old enough I took on full responsibility for them. All of our family pets lived long lives and were well taken care of. As soon as I turned 20 I got a dog of my own and he has been my best friend ever since. He passed in 2020 and caring for him was one of the best adventures I could have asked for. I loved his ornery personality! He was on medication that he had to take everyday so I understand the special needs of your aging or sick pet. I currently have a new puppy and have also helped many friends train their puppies, in doing so I have gained tons of experience over the years on dog behavior and wellness. I would have become a vet tech if sciences were my thing!

I have an 11 month old Australian Sheperd at home and our boy is an indoor/outdoor pup. Our home is pet proof and pet friendly. Your dog must behave well with other dogs. We do not have a yard but live in a large townhouse and have river access/access to many walking paths and parks that we use every day with our doggo! Also have potty grass on patio for "quick relief" situations :-)

Fetch, swimming, training...whatever your pup fancies I am down! I use positive reinforcement training to promote communication and mutual respect. Please let me know if you are interested in any light obedience or behavioral training.

I am a current part-time professor at CSUS, and live in Sacramento but do spend time with family in Cameron Park. This allows me to work between Eldorado and Sac County, my schedule is flexible and love dogs so let me help you with yours!
