I requested to book boarding for my two dogs with Azusena from 11/21-11/23. She assured me that she does not work and would be home with the dogs the entire stay. Because of this she was flexible with drop off and pick up times. We planned to meet up before hand to see if she would be a good fit. She had me meet her at an address that was not her own house, but her “mother in law’s”. She seemed enthusiastic and reassured me that she was up for taking care of my dogs. I made sure that she understood how often they would need to be let outside to go to the bathroom as well as how often and how much they needed to eat. She was able to confirm she understood. On the 20th she asked if I could drop them off an hour later than the time we had a agreed upon but I told her I needed to be out of town by a certain time. On the 21st she had me drop them off at her mother in law’s again, instead of her own house. She said, once again, she would be at home with the dogs the whole time and to let her know what time we would be coming back. On the morning of the 23rd I texted her, giving her three hours notice of when my fiance and I would arrive at the address she provided me. I texted her multiple times with no response. When I arrived to the address of “her” house, it appeared to be abandoned. I compared it to the photos on her profile and it did not match up. I could see my dogs inside shivering and there was no trace of Azusena. I began calling her repeatedly because she did not have a voicemail set up. My dogs began to cry and whine when they realized I was outside. I kept calling. Suddenly she pulled up in a truck with a man. She got out and feigned ignorance, claiming she did not receive and texts or calls and had been at the store. She unlocked her house and what was inside deeply disturbed us. The house was completely trashed, the floors covered in dog feces and urine, moldy and torn carpets, and no heating system on for our shivering dogs. She quickly tried to gather the toys and other things I had left with her for my dogs - including a bag of food still significantly full. We grabbed my dogs and took photos of the scene as we left. It is my speculation that Azusena was not present during the time our dogs were in our care, that they were not let outside once, they were not fed the proper amount. I am appalled at this situation and that I paid to have my dog neglected over a three day period. I would like to report Azusena for animal abuse and neglect, and you can be sure I will not recommend your services to anyone. I will do my best to make sure dog owners are aware of your inadequacy before they use your ap. This was a horrible experience and I hope it is taken seriously.

Azusena was a very good dog sitter. My dog felt comfortable and content in her care! I came back to see a happy fellow. It looks like she spent enough time with my pet and she has followed the instructions to take care of him as we agreed, including sending some pictures during the boarding time. She was very accommodated to my schedule! I am expecting to use her sitting services soon!
