ABOUT ME: I'm 31 years old, I have a small dog. I worked for Rover full time for 2 years and now I do it on the side. I grew up with a shih-tzu/poodle mix, a 10 gallon fish tank with angel fish and guppies, and have always had close friends with pets. I have experience with all sizes of dogs and both indoor and outdoor cats! I love walking RAIN OR SHINE. I also have some experience with chickens, parrots, conures, horses, fish, goats, and small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, a ferret, and rats. I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war with dogs of all sizes. I also am good at getting kitties running toward their string toys. If your pet loves laps then they will find some cuddles from me. If your pet is anxious then I will respect their space. I give great massages and pets usually love me. Please message me to set up a meet-and-greet for you, your pet and I to make sure it's a good fit for all of us! Availablity Details: 1. It is helpful for me to have a window of time to check on your pet rather than a strict time expectation. Regardless, I plan to spend a minimum of thirty minutes giving your pet attention unless we agree on a different amount of time. 2. My calendar on Rover may say I'm unavailable, but there are often last-minute changes or cancellations so please check with me to confirm. 3. I will only be available in the afternoons and evenings with the exception of house-sitting stays. (I am NOT available mornings) 4. New clients: I am looking for clients and pets that are compatible with my new dog. Please only inquire with me if you are willing to allow my dog into your home or secure yard depending on a successful meet and greet with both of our pets. Drop-in visits and dog walk requests may be OK to leave my dog in the car with amenities, weather permitting, but it's not ideal. As another option I can clip his harness to a stake in the ground with a 10 ft leash cord in a backyard with shade. Thank you! About my dog M'baku (Baku): I adopted him in March 2019. He is about 2 years old and he has a lot of energy and loves toys. Baku is vocal and growls while playing and is very sweet but he does have some anxiety around hyper, playful or aggressive dogs, will bark at new people sometimes and he will chase cats; I'm still training him to get used to them. There is a cat in the house that he lives and he's been left home alone with her without any problems. He's not aggressive but he is attached to me and rarely plays with other dogs unless I'm throwing balls for them. He's up to date on all shots and vaccines and is altered. I'm currently only available for drop in visits, dog walking and house sitting (Not day care or boarding in my home). I have bags for cleaning up on walks however toys and food will need to be provided for drop-in visits when necessary and a collar/leash will need to be provided for walks. I will care for your pet with the same careful responsibility as if it were my own fur-baby! If there are certain commands or treats you'd like me to use in the training of your pet please share and I will do my best to support their training and communicate in ways your pet will understand. Please provide treats if you want me to take them with the dog on walks. I am happy to send multiple photos during my visits with your pal.
