Ayla is a pleasant, caring young woman who absolutely loves animals, whether it is a hamster, gerbil, fish, cat, rabbit, goat or dog. She has a way with animals that seem to cause them to gravitate to her even though at times the animal is someone else's pet. (I'm not so sure about the fish, but she did talk to it and it seemed to pay attention.) In her home growing up, the pet dogs wanted to sleep in her room. During a time of staying with a friend who had tired of her pet hamster, Ayla became its care giver and loved it. She lives with a family now who had a dog when she moved in with them. The dog almost immediately attached itself to Ayla, sleeping in her room. While in high school in a class focused on animals, she became attached to a large white rabbit that allowed her to hold it like holding a baby. She would have taken it home with her except she had no place to keep it. And she made friends with our cat who thoroughly enjoyed her attention and care. It is my heartfelt opinion that Ayla C. would make an excellent dog sitter because she seems to be able to communicate with the dog, sensing its needs, and then caring for it.
