Hi! My name is Ayana and I have spent my entire life caring for animals. From growing up with horses, dogs, and chickens in Tennessee to traveling the world as a marine mammal specialist, I have made caring for animals my career of choice. I have been working professionally with animals since 2010. I have experience as a veterinary technician, marine mammal trainer, and I am currently working as an Animal Care Specialist in Miami. Aside from my B.S. in Psychology, I have received a Statement of Accomplishment for an online course in Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh through Coursera. I have experience with animals with behavioral needs such as anxiety/reactivity, as well as those with medical issues.

We booked Ayana for our first time using Rover. We are originally from Orlando and needed a last minute dog walker. Ayana was such a pleasure to work with. She was responsive, timely, respectful, and we loved the photo updates we received during the day! Anyone would be lucky to have Ayana watch over their pets!

I work full-time, but have consistent scheduling, days off mid-week and a lunch break of one hour daily. That gives me a bit of flexibility when making bookings.
