Pet care experience
From a young age, an eagerness to learn and surround myself with animals as much as possible has always been present. Adding to the personal experience of looking after dogs since the age of 10, I’m proud to have 1.5 years of professional experience in dog daycare/boarding facilities where I’ve been familiarized with delivering medication and cleaning after accidents of all types. In conjunction with this, I also come with a year - present of textbook education on dogs/dog training in combination with assisting in training puppies under a mentor and walking dogs as a volunteer at my local rescue! Lastly, I’m very comfortable with all breeds and sizes and am Pet CPR/First-Aid Certified.

As a dog owner herself, Ayana is really great with dogs! She is patient + caring, and gives dogs the undivided attention they deserve. I always feel comfortable leaving my pups with Ayana because I know they are going to have fun and be in good hands :)

I would love to know all your dogs important needs ranging from their daily routine to special medications they need to be happy and healthy! Safety is the biggest priority, so let me know how your dog does on their walks and around others beforehand in order to make their outdoor activities just as enjoyable as their food!
A typical day
As an aspiring dog trainer, I love to work with dogs any chance I get both physically and mentally. There are so many simple games and exercises to get your dog tired at the end of the day to pass up on! Whether it be challenging your dog to find some kibble hidden around the room or practicing a structured walk around your beautiful neighborhood or nearby park, I’m up to get their brain working and most importantly tired!

Availability
Currently as a student, I’m undergoing a dog training externship and am not available as much as I’d love to be. I’m unavailable on weekends but am open mid-day between 11am - 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to care for pups every week!
