What I love about pet caretaking is the opportunity to build trust and companionship between myself and the animals in my care. Whether the animal is friendly, feisty, or needs some time to warm up, I find it extremely fulfilling to build a bond, and have a strong connection. All the fur and feather babies in my care, end up being a part of my family. :) I also strive to form lasting relationships with pet parents by being reliable flexible, communicative, and sending lots of glamour shots of your furry loves with their updates. (after goodbye kisses of course!) My animal care background is pretty wild. I grew up taking care of kangaroos and wallabies for almost 5 years! I also spent 5 years at a local mom and pop dog wash where I became assistant manager in training. I love caring for domestic and exotic animals. My partner and I currently have a dog, Homie, a army of cats, and 6 senior rats. When you work with me, you're supporting a long-time local queer independent business owner who is friendly, empathetic, and happy to help where they can. :) When I walk dogs, I don't just take them out to go potty, I like to work with them on commands and build their confidence with positive socializing. My personal goal is to leave with an excited, crazy pup and return with a better, (hopefully tired out!), more behaved dog.
